Reminding me of days that feels so long ago
When I was young I had no one to play the part of me,
I learned the hard way how to find myself thats why, im here alone.
Its been so long since i´ve been home I lost a part of me
I had to find myself thats why im here alone, nobody knows
Its taking a life time, for me to see, there´s no one to blame
Nobody knows, nobody knows whats life in front of me
I have to face the world and live my life alone
Nobody knows, nobody knows whats life in front of me
Thats why I find myself alone, nobody knows
When I was young I had no one to play the part of me,
I had to find myself, thats why im here alone
Its been so long since i´ve been home, I lost a part of me
I had to find myself, thats why im here alone, nobody knows
Its taking a life time for me to see, there´s no one to blame,
Nobody but me
Nobody knows, nobody knows whats life in front of me
I have to face the world and live my life alone
Nobody knows, nobody knows whats life in front of me
I have to face the world and live my life alone,
Nobody knows
Another song plays on and on, a cross the radio,
Reminding me, those days are gone
Nobody knows, nobody knows whats life in front of me
I have to face the world and live my life alone
Nobody knows, nobody knows whats life in front of me
I have to face the world and live my life alone,
Nobody knows, nobody knows
Another song plays on and on, a cross the radio,
Reminding me, im still alone..
The lyrics to Loser's song Nobody Knows express the feeling of being lost and alone in a world that seems to have moved on without the singer. The song is written from the perspective of someone who is reminiscing about the past and how they struggled to find their own identity. The opening lines mention another song playing on the radio that reminds the singer of days gone by. The lyrics then touch on how the singer had no one to help them discover themselves and had to learn the hard way. They go on to say that they've been away from home for so long that they feel like they've lost a part of themselves. Despite this, the singer recognizes that they are the only one responsible for their life and they have to face the world alone.
The chorus repeats the sentiment of feeling isolated and facing life on their own. The singer doesn't know what the future holds, but they know they have to keep going forward. The song ends with the line "Reminding me, I'm still alone," which sums up the overarching theme of the song.
Overall, Nobody Knows is a relatable song that speaks to the human experience of feeling lost and struggling to find one's place in the world. The lyrics are poignant and well-crafted, and the melody is hauntingly beautiful.
