But by 1992's Wasted in America, heavy metal had become commercially passé and Columbia dropped them soon after its release.Jizzy Pearl used himself in a legendary publicity stunt to help album sales. This stunt, with the help of a few others, included Jizzy successfully erecting a cross on the Hollywood Sign and positioned himself on it. Love/Hate moved to the Caliber label and released Let's Rumble in May 1994, an album much more raw than their previous material featuring Darren Housholder on Guitar replacing Jon E. Love. Another label switch, to Mayhem Records, resulted in October 1995's I'm Not Happy featuring the return of Jon E. Love. In 1997 the band released Livin' off Layla. During the Livin' Off Layla sessions Jizzy Pearl left for the first time breifly replaced my Mark Torien of Bulletboys. 1999 saw the release of Let's Eat with Jizzy back on vocals and Joey Gold on Drums
The original lineup reunited for the first time in ten years, on February 24, 2007 at Club Vodka in Hollywood, California to perform their classic record "Black out in the Red Room" in its entirety. The show sold out, with an audience of 1,500
The band continues to play One Off Shows and short tours with 3/4 of the original band.
Don't Fuck With Me
Love/Hate Lyrics

I'm proud to be a rock n' roller
Just don't want to get judged by the color of my skin
Or the beer that I'm drinkin'
Don't fuck with me 'cause I don't look like you
We can be brothers and wear our different colors too
Don't fuck with me and I won't fuck with you
Some people got a problem with a man in long hair
I don't care
Some people don't like a poor boy 'cause they think you can't win
For the thoughts that he's thinkin'
Don't fuck with me 'cause I don't look like you
We can be brothers and wear our different colors too
Don't fuck with me and I won't fuck with you
We can be brothers and wear our different colors too
Do unto others as you'd have others do unto you
Don't fuck with me and I won't fuck with you
Don't fuck with me 'cause I don't look like you
We can be brothers and wear our different colors too
Don't fuck with me and I won't fuck with you
We can be brothers and wear our different colors too
Don't fuck with me 'cause I don't look like you
We can be brothers and wear our different colors too
Don't fuck with me and I won't fuck with you
We can be brothers and wear our different colors too
And wear our different colors too
And wear our different colors too
And wear our different colors too
And wear our different colors too
Love/Hate's song "Don't Fuck With Me" is a powerful statement about the singer's pride in being an outlaw and a rock n' roller. The lyrics express a desire for acceptance regardless of the color of their skin or the beer they are drinking, and a refusal to be judged for their appearance or beliefs. The singer boldly proclaims that they are who they are and won't apologize for it, even if others have a problem with it.
The chorus of the song makes it clear that the singer is not interested in confrontation or conflict, and that they believe that people can be different and still get along. The lines "We can be brothers and wear our different colors too/Do unto others as you'd have others do unto you" emphasize the importance of mutual respect and understanding.
Overall, "Don't Fuck With Me" is a defiant message of individuality and non-conformity, but also a call for peace and acceptance in a world that often seems divided by hate and fear.
