Mi amor se terminó
Lo nuestro para siempre se acabó
No regreses
Ya déjame curarme las heridas
No quiero recordar tu falso proceder
Si algún día mil caricias yo te dí
No porque serían correspondidas
No vuelvas por favor
No vuelvas por favor
Que tus promesas son puras mentiras
No vuelvas por favor
No vuelvas por favor
Y así se curarán ya mis heridas
Te vas, te vas, te vas
Pero porque yo quiero
No vuelvas por favor
Lo nuestro se acabó
No quiero verte más cerca de mí
En mi corazón
Ya no existe nada de tu vida
No quiero recordar tu falso proceder
Si algún día mil caricias yo te dí
Fueron de pasión
No porque serían correspondidas
No vuelvas por favor
No vuelvas por favor
Que tus promesas son puras mentiras
No vuelvas por favor
No vuelvas por favor
Y así se curarán ya mis heridas
The song "No Vuelvas" by Lucero is a heartbreak ballad about the end of a relationship. The singer pleads with her former lover not to return, as their love has ended forever. She is trying to heal from the hurt he has caused and does not want to be reminded of his false promises or his insincere actions. In the song, she laments that the passion she showed him was not reciprocated, and she implores him not to come back.
The lyrics convey the message that the singer has moved on and wants nothing to do with the person who hurt her. She is asking him to stay away from her so that she can finally heal and move on with her life. The repetition of "no vuelvas por favor," or "please don't come back," emphasizes her strong desire to put the past behind her and move forward.
The emotional intensity of the song is highlighted by the use of several musical elements. The slow tempo and mournful melody of the guitar create a somber atmosphere that reflects the singer's sorrow. The recurring phrases in the lyrics add to the hypnotic effect of the song, making it more memorable and melancholic.
Overall, "No Vuelvas" is a powerful song that captures the gravity of heartbreak and the difficulty of moving on from a failed relationship. The artist's heartfelt delivery and the poignant lyrics make it a favorite among fans of romantic ballads.
