Luciana Souza Lyrics

You're a question mark coming
After people you watched collide
You can ask what you want to the satellite
'Cos the names you drop
Put ice in my veins
And for all you know you're the only one
When they call it a lover's moon
The satellite
'Cos it acts just like lovers do
The satellite
A burned out world you know
Staying up all night
'Cos the names you drop
Put ice in my veins
And for all you know you're the only one
Who finds it strange
When they call it a lover's moon
The satellite
'Cos it acts just like lovers do
The satellite
A burned out world you know
Staying up all night
The lyrics to Luciana Souza's song "Satellite" paint a picture of someone standing alone, looking up at the night sky, and talking to a satellite. The hands are pointing to midnight, which is the metaphor for time ticking away. The singer is questioning why certain people collide in their lives and watching them from a distance. The line "You can ask what you want to the satellite" is significant because it represents the idea of seeking answers in things that we do not fully understand, and in this case, the satellite represents something that has a higher knowledge or power than ourselves.
The chorus of "Satellite" references the "lover's moon," which is a poetic term used to describe the full moon seen in June. The singer compares the satellite to a lover, acting like one with its mysterious ways. The line "A burned-out world you know staying up all night" is a statement about how despite feeling tired and exhausted, the singer continues to stay up all night, struggling to understand the situation.
In summary, "Satellite" is a song that explores the idea of seeking answers from the unknown, feeling lost and confused in relationships, and the struggle to understand something that seems unexplainable.
