There are countless options and opportunities in life that I have not pursued.

I am waiting for the river-man In the hidden riverbed
I am anticipating a meeting with the entity who dwells in the depths of the hidden river.

On the bank, three women passing They measure time for me -
Three women who are passing by on the shore symbolize the passage of time and how it affects my journey.

In the mirror of the water They can but darkly see
Their perception of my journey is obscured by the rippling reflection in the water below.

I will walk beyond the meadows With a child in either hand
I will continue on my path with my children by my side, representing my responsibilities and obligations.

Through the river′s many shadows We will pass from land to land
We will face challenges and changes as we traverse through the river's varying depths and surroundings.

All the promises unspoken Lie like fallen leaves on the ground
Unfulfilled promises and unrealized dreams are scattered around me, akin to fallen leaves.

But the thread is still unbroken And the hidden may be found
Despite these setbacks, my unyielding determination and positive outlook give me hope that I will uncover what is hidden and continue along my path.

When the wheeling birds are leaving They pass the sinking sun
As migratory birds are flying away from the setting sun, I too am moving forward towards an uncertain future.

We will travel with the river-man Until time and time is run.
I will continue to journey with the river-man until the end of time, even if that end means the end of my life.
