Con un pie encima
No es fácil salirse suelo
No todo es bueno
No sería sincero
He visto tanto que no tengo cura
Y bang bang
Siento como disparando
Aunque me llamen hard
Contigo me ablando
Seguimos barajando
He llegado a un punto tan distante
Si tienes frio mi calor no da consuelo
He llegado a un punto tan distante
He llegado a un punto tan distante
Que no creo que sepa volver
In the lyrics of Miranda's song "Volver," the singer reflects on a journey of self-discovery and introspection. The opening lines express a sense of starting anew, with one foot forward and the acknowledgment that it's not easy to break away from the familiar ground. The lyrics touch on the complexity of life, admitting that not everything is good and being honest about the struggles faced. There is a plea for guidance and light in the darkness, symbolized by asking for a lantern to be brought to the hole one finds themselves in. The imagery of each person in their own world, in their own madness, prompts a question about the purity of childhood innocence that seems lost in the harsh realities of adulthood.
The verses delve deeper into personal experiences and shortcomings, with the singer grappling with the weight of their past actions and the consequences of trying to help others. There's a sense of introspective struggle and a longing for a simpler time, perhaps referencing a lost love or a moment that marked a significant change in their life. The mention of feeling like both a saint and a sinner reveals the internal conflict and complexity of human nature. The desire to rise above one's circumstances and the acknowledgment that one must keep moving forward, even if it's challenging, resonates throughout the verses.
As the song progresses, there is a shift towards acceptance and a willingness to confront emotions that have been suppressed. The lyrics touch upon the difficulty of expressing feelings at times, the longing for understanding, and the inevitable moments of breaking down barriers. The imagery of the moon guarding the night until the dawn arrives speaks to a sense of protection and hope amidst uncertainty. The repeated refrain about feeling tired of running and unsure of how to return signifies a yearning for stability and a desire to find a way back to a place of comfort and familiarity.
Overall, "Volver" encapsulates a journey of self-exploration, emotional vulnerability, and the complexities of human relationships. The lyrics paint a picture of growth through struggle, the acceptance of past mistakes, and a yearning for connection and understanding. The song conveys a sense of longing for a lost time or person while also acknowledging the beauty and pain that comes with life's experiences. It ultimately speaks to the universal themes of love, loss, introspection, and the constant pursuit of finding one's way back home, both physically and emotionally.
