Anarchy in the U.K.
Mötley Crüe Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Right now
Oh I am an anti-Christ
And I am an anarchist
Don't know what I want
But I know how to get it
I want to destroy your passion boy
'Cause I, I want to be, anarchy
In this fuckin' city

Anarchy for the USA
It's coming sometime, maybe
I give a wrong time stop at traffic line
Your future dream is a sharpie's scheme
'Cause I want to be, anarchy
Well it's the only way to be

Ha ha ha ha ha ha
There are many ways to get what you want
I use the best, well I use the rest
Well I use the enemy
I use anarchy
'Cause I, I want to be, anarchy
Fuck the rat race man

Is this the PMRC
Or is this the DEA
Or is this the CIA
I thought it was the U.S.A.
Or just another country
Some other fuckin' country
And I, want to be, anarchy
Oh I want to fuckin' hear it man
And I, want to be, anarchy
Let's say it again boys

And I, want to be, anarchy
Fuckin' destroy

I really dislike the Crue's cover of this song, it's just too tame compared to the original and the Megadeth cover, BUT, Mick (as always) really stands out, like he wanted to take a basic little punk rock song and make it's presence known, while everyone else just wanted to have a little fun and weren't worried about if it was good or not. Long live \M/ick \M/ars!

A warm welcome hug to all new fans who watched The Dirt and realized how much they've missed out.

@Joe Guitar Despite it being plainly obvious that you're a troll, lemme humor you and name a few off the top of my head:
"Girls, Girls, Girls," "Looks That Kill," "Too Young to Fall in Love," "Live Wire," "Take Me to the Top," "Home Sweet Home," "Saints of Los Angeles," "Rodeo," "If I Die Tomorrow," basically everything off Dr. Feelgood... does that answer your question?

Tammy

@Joe Guitar here's another good song for Motley Crue!
Don't Go Away Mad ( Just Go Away)
