that’s great but bear in mind that in the UK to be loaded is slang for ‘to be rich’. if I say ‘he is loaded!’ we will usually interpret it as ‘he is rich’. If you want to be more specific you could try ‘I am fully loaded’ or ‘I am overloaded’

Wow, that lesson was cool - "I'm busy" always sounds soooo overused...

I have a question for you... I recently heard somebody (German interviewee) say "How came you together as a band?" in an interview and it sounded quite weird... I always thought it was "How did you come together as a band?"... Is there a rule when to use 'did' in questions and when not? Or did he simply say it wrong?😬
I have asked my English teacher today and she was quite confused about the fact, that no Online language check tool has marked " How came you together as a band?" wrong because she would have regarded it as wrong too.
Can you help me to get so clarity on that?😅

I said "I'm up to my nose" and "I'm swamped" a lot the last couple of months!

I also say "my calendar is full" in professional setting, referring to my Outlook calendar.

Hi. Thanks for your interesting lesson. In colloquial Persian we say "I don't have time to scratch my head" (forsat nadaram saram ro bekharunam). I'm wondering whether there is any expression close to that in English?
