Ooo oo oooo, yeah
Honey you are my shining star
Don't you go away, ooh baby
Wanna be right here were you are until my dying day, yeah baby
So many have tried, tried to find a love like yours and mine
Mmm mmm mmm
Girl don't you realize how you hypnotize
make me love you more each time yeah baby
Honey I'll never leave you lonely
Give my love to you only
To you only
To you only
Honey you are my shining star don't you go away, no baby
Wanna be right here were you are until my dying day yeah baby
Feels so good when we're lying here next to each other lost in love, yeah baby
Baby when we touch love you so much your all I ever dream of, yeah baby
Honey I'll never leave you lonely
Give my love to you only
To you
Only to you
Don't you go away girl, nooo baby
Wanna be right here were you are
Until my dying day, hmmmm
Honey you, you are my shining star don't you go away, woah oh baby
Honey you are my shing star

Don't you go away, noo baby
Honey you are my shining star

@@andrewzboard I’m 62, it sounds like you are a bit older. Of course things have changed looking back 50-55 years. Just look at this group’s appearance. Well groomed and well dressed. Now they got tats on thier necks and pants falling off, lol

50 years ago people didn’t lock thier doors even in some big cities. Smaller towns never. An 8-10 year old kid could go out with a rake or snow shovel and make a few bucks, without worrying about stranger danger.

Nobody brought guns to school and did school shootings. They just duked it out with fists.

I still think men and women treated each other with more respect.

You bring up valid points too . Being homeless 50-55 years ago was against the law. Women were brought in out of the cold . Men were given a chance and help to find a job . And the police would call around to help the guy get work and a room to rent . If he kept losing his job and living drunk in the park or woods , he would be arrested for vagrancy. And maybe that would help him get a taste of how valuable freedom is.

They didn’t have the mass drug problem or divorce rate in the 50,s .
60,s , 70,s and 80,s brought it from 10-20 percent to 50 percent. I guess the free love thing hurt too many feelings.

It's a real shame music like this isn't made anymore, those of us whom were lucky enough to had grown up with it had the best music that was made.
