Przyszłaś do mnie pewnej nocy
I rzuciłaś na mnie czar
Czarne oczy dziewczyno
Czarne oczy masz
Powiedz mi dziewczyno
Czarne oczy dziewczyno
Czarne oczy masz
Powiedz mi kochana komu ty je dasz
Czarne oczy dziewczyno
Czarne oczy masz
Powiedz mi dziewczyno
Czy mi serce dasz
Czarne oczy dziewczyno
Czarne oczy masz
Powiedz mi kochana komu ty je dasz
Przytulałaś mnie do siebie
Ja szeptałem kocham Cię
Byłaś wtedy taka piękna
Jak królewna w moim śnie

The lyrics of MAX's song "Czarne Oczy" depict a tale of innocent love and infatuation that blossoms during adolescence. The singer reminisces about falling in love at a tender age, with the lyrics mentioning being a teenager when the object of affection entered their life one fateful night and cast a spell on them. The mention of "czar" in the lyrics can be interpreted as the magical allure or enchantment that the person holds over the singer, captivating them with their presence and mystique.
The repeated chorus, focusing on the girl's dark eyes and questioning whether she will give her heart to the singer, reflects the uncertainty and longing characteristic of young love. The imagery of the girl's black eyes symbolizes depth, mystery, and perhaps even a sense of danger or intensity in the connection between the two individuals. The repetition of the questions about receiving her heart emphasizes the singer's desire for reciprocation and clarity in their emotions.
The verses describe tender moments between the singer and the girl, where they are embraced and exchange heartfelt declarations of love. The singer is enamored by the girl's beauty, comparing her to a princess from a fairy tale, highlighting the idealized perception they have of their beloved. These verses evoke a sense of intimacy and vulnerability in the relationship, with the singer expressing their feelings openly and vulnerably to the girl with dark eyes.
As the chorus repeats throughout the song, the plea for the girl to reveal whom she will give her eyes to underscores the theme of uncertainty and emotional stakes in their relationship. The singer seeks reassurance and affirmation from the girl, hoping that she will reciprocate their affection and commit to a shared future. The repetition of the lines reflects the singer's ongoing search for validation and clarity in their feelings, as they navigate the complexities of young love and the longing for a reciprocated and lasting connection.
