Ya Ilaahi Bhool Jaun Naza'Ki Takleef Ko,
Oh my God, let me forget the pain caused by my loved ones,

Shaadiye deedare Husne Mustafa Ka Saath Ho.
and let me experience the beauty of Prophet Muhammad's sight at his wedding,

Ya Ilaahi Gor Teera Ki Jab Aaey Sakht Raat,
Oh my God, when the tough night of death arrives,

Unke Pyaare Moonh Ki Subha Jaa Fiza Ka Saath Ho.
may the fresh breeze of his dear face be with me in the morning,

Ya Ilaah Garmi-e-Mahshar Seh Jub Bharke Badan,
Oh my God, when I feel the heat of the Day of Judgment,

Daaman-e-Mahboob Ki Thandi Hawaa Ka Saath Ho.
may I have the cool wind of the embrace of my beloved Prophet.

Ya Ilaahi Nama-e-A'maal Jub Khulne Lagay,
Oh my God, when my deeds are laid bare,

Aib-e-Pooshe Khalq Sat'taare Khata Ka Saath Ho.
may the covering of my sins be with the stars of forgiveness,

Ya Ilaahi Rang Laayein Jab Meri Be Baaqiyaan,
Oh my God, when my fleeting joys come to an end,

Unki Neechi Nichi Nazroon Ki Hayaa Ka Saatho Ho.
may I have the modesty of their lowered and humble gazes with me,

Ya Ilaahi Jub Zabaane Baahar Aayey Pyaas Say,
Oh my God, when my thirst is unbearable,

Saahib-e-Kauthar Sha'e Jood-o-ataa Ka Saath Ho.
may I have the generous owner of the fountain of Kauthar, the Prophet Muhammad,

Ya Ilaahi Jub Chalo Tareekh Raahe Pul Siraate,
Oh my God, when I walk on the path of the Bridge of Sirat,

Aftaab-e-Haashmi Noorul Huda Ka Saath Ho.
may I have the guidance of the sun of Hashim, the Prophet Muhammad,

Ya Ilaahi Jub Sare Shamsheer Par Chalna Pare,
Oh my God, when I walk with swords pointed at me,

"Rabbe Sallim" Kehne Waale Ghamzudah Ka Saath Ho.
may I have the company of the one who says "Lord grant me peace", even in great grief.

Ya Ilaahi Jo Dua'e Nek Hum Tujhe Se Kare,
Oh my God, when we make righteous supplications to you,

Qudsiyo Ke Lub Se Aameen Rab'bana Ka Saath Ho.
may we have the support of the angels' Aameen, "Our Lord, grant it!"

Ya Ilaahi Jub Raza Khaab-e-Giraa Se Sar Uthaa'e,
Oh my God, when this humble servant awakens from his slumber,

Daulat-e-Bedaar Ishk-e-Mustafa Ka Saath Ho.
may the wealth of being awake with the love of the Prophet Muhammad be with me.
