The original has a balance voice and music arrangement, sound effects of both. The music arrangement is particularly well done, unique. But Macy's rendition focuses more on her interpretation - you are made more aware of the lyrics and the quality of the artistic expression in her voice. The original is a bit on the hard side; Macy's is soulful.
