Uuu!
Wow!
It's dare, ow!
Hole in the wall, in the wall
Around, uuu!
Wow!
It's dare, ow!
Get up in the wall, in the wall
In the world around, uuu!
Wow!
Uuu!
Wow!
Hole in the wall!
Ow!
Wow!
Uuu!
Loosing your...
Loosing your...
Loosing your...
Loosing your...
Loosing your...
Loosing your...

I could be your boy
You could be my girl
I could be your boy
Come on rock my world.
I could be your boy
You could be my girl
I could be your boy
Come on rock my world.
I could be your boy
You could be my girl
I could be your boy

Come on rock my world!
Wow!
It's...
Ow, Wu!
Hole in the wall, in the wall
Around, uuu!
Wow!
It's...

Ow, Wu!
Hole in the wall, in the wall
Around the world!

Wow! Uuu!
Time goes by, so slowly
Time goes, time goes, time goes by
Time goes by, so slowly
Time goes by, so slowly
Time goes by, so slowly
Loosing your...
Loosing your...
Loosing your...

Ah ah ah ah ahhhh!
Ohh Ohh!
Yeah-O
Yeah-O

Yeah-O
I've got to know!

Overall Meaning

The lyrics to Madeon's song "Pop Culture" are very abstract and mostly nonsensical, so it's difficult to find a cohesive meaning within them. The first half of the song is primarily made up of exclamations and vocalizations, punctuated by the repeated phrase "hole in the wall." This phrase could potentially suggest an escape from confinement or a desire to break through barriers and limitations, but it's left open to interpretation. The second half of the song shifts to a simple verse-chorus structure with more conventional lyrics about a potential romantic relationship.

Overall, the song seems to be more focused on the production and sound than the lyrical content. The use of sound bites and loops from various pop culture sources throughout the song adds to this theme. It's almost as if the song itself is commenting on the influence of pop culture on music and entertainment as a whole.

this section of the song was used as the launch music for the TF2 servers run by an old group called Golden Machine Gun...

it has been 12 years since these servers have been offline and hearing this section of the song brings me back to memories of minigames and good times..

Spycrab contests
sniper huntsmen tauntchains
and bullying one of the mods with a candy cane as a scout...

I miss these servers.. I'm glad I found this song again..

Most people don't understand the level of composing this takes. DJs have a hard time mixing even TWO songs together. Some psychos out there can run Quads but those are a rare breed. Let alone 30+. Obviously this was practiced and what not. But how many years would you need to mash together 30+ songs? Dude was like 16 when he made this. Insanely impressive to throw this together at that age. Some fucking legitimate genius level shit.

@David-dq1dq

first off this isn't DJing. It's finger drumming except samples instead of drumming. Second Todd Edwards does this much better listen to Face to Face by daft punk or any of his songs

@aerospaceglobe

@@David-dq1dq Todd Edwards does microsampling, it's a far different compositional technique compared to the mash up here. Todd is incredible, but it's a completely different style of music production

@David-dq1dq

@@aerospaceglobe really? I mean different genre sure but Madeon's song is still just small samples from songs all mashed up together into a melody
