Peace Pipe
Magic Potion Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

En cada necesidad de dormir
La pipa de la paz
Es pasada a mi
Hay una llama
La llama
Que esta lamiendo mi cabeza
Cada vez que voy a la cama
Nada
Nada se va hacia abajo
Mas que la luna
La luna y el sol
Hay una llama
La llama

Que esta lamiendo mi cabeza
Cada vez que voy a la cama

Overall Meaning

The lyrics to Magic Potion's song Peace Pipe describe the experience of smoking a peace pipe as a means to find inner peace and relaxation. The singer describes how every time they need to sleep, the peace pipe is passed to them, and as they smoke it, a comforting flame tongues their head. This seems to be a regular routine for them, as they note that nothing falls down except the moon and the sun. This could mean that, for them, smoking the peace pipe helps them feel that everything else fades away, leaving only the peacefulness of their mind.

The inclusion of the phrase "pipa de la paz" suggests that the lyrics may be inspired by Native American culture, which holds the peace pipe as a symbol of unity and communication. Furthermore, the repetitive nature of the lyrics could represent the cyclical nature of life and the constant need for peace and relaxation. Overall, the song serves as a reminder of the importance of finding inner peace amidst the chaos of life.

I might be wrong, but it really sounds like he is saying "me and my hypnotic eyes," not "me and my head are guides." Also, it sounds like "you mean everything to me, do I mean everything to you?" and not "draining everything you need, draining everything you choose." Just my thoughts. Oh, and "like their hearts are filled with something" and not "like their hearts so full of something." Thanks!
