1) Magneto was a superstar Mexican boy band in the 1980s and 1990s. In 1986, Magneto was featured in "Siempre en Domingo," a Spanish entertainment show viewed across Latin America and parts of Europe. The group's biggest international hit, "Vuela, Vuela," was a Spanish-language version of Desireless' "Voyage, Voyage." The clasic Magneto lineup -- Alex, Alan, Charlie, Mauri and Elias -- recorded four albums together between 1989 and 1993. They also starred in a big-screen motion picture, "Cambiando El Destino," that was released in 1992. The group split in 1996 after a farewell performance at the Plaza de Toros in Mexico.
The song "Ok" by Magneto seems to be about a relationship that has come to a crossroads. The chorus repeats the phrase "Qué más da" or "What does it matter" which suggests that the singer is resigned to the fate of the relationship but still feels a deep love for the other person. The verses include phrases like "Déjame si puedes" or "Leave me if you can" which suggest that the singer is giving the other person a choice to stay or go. The line "Okey tarde que temprano sabrás/ Que yo te quiero" suggests that the other person will eventually come to realize the depth of the singer's love.
The overall tone of the song seems to be one of resignation but still a strong sense of love for the other person that cannot be ignored. The use of "Okey" throughout the song also suggests a kind of acceptance of the situation at hand. Despite the challenges, the singer is willing to leave the decision in the other person's hands, suggesting a deep respect for their autonomy.
