Little by little, they came to the attention of the Catalan and Spanish public, through their fresh style, word of mouth and a little bit of social networking. What followed was a year of touring, including festivals such as Primavera Sound. By 2009, they had already held the honour of being Enderrock's album of the year.
In February 2011, Manel began tentatively promoting their album 10 Milles Per Veure Una Bona Armadura, by releasing two tracks ahead of time. Soon after its release in March 2011, it became the number 1 album in Spain, making them the first Catalan group to ever achieve such a feat.

vam conversar, vam riure i hem fet l'amor.
I "Que bonic! Que bonic! Que bonic!" M'he dit,
I "Que bonic! Que bonic! Que bonic!" m'he dit,
que li has preguntat si encara ens freqüentàvem
i que m'envies molts records.
The lyrics of Manel's song "En la que el Bernat se't troba" narrate a night in which the singer meets three elegant and tall women. He connects with one of them, and they start talking and laughing until they end up making love. She tells him about her country and its peculiarities, speaking in an unusual but fluid Spanish. She then shows him a painting she made as a child and sings him a lullaby her family used to sing to her, with lyrics referencing a forest and a man who protects himself from the evils of humans with an army of animals. While he enjoys the encounter and their conversations, the singer's friend Bernat informs him that he saw his former partner in Barcelona with another man who was tall and asked if they still were in contact, sending him regards in the process.
The song explores a moment of intimacy and connection between two people who meet for the first time, portraying the beauty of being open to new experiences and connections. Through the scenes and conversations, it highlights the importance of sharing personal stories, memories, and culture to connect with others, even if it's only for one night. The lyrics also touch upon the themes of memory, nostalgia, and time. The singer thinks nostalgically about the past, as when seeing the painting, he remembers the girl who painted it when she was a child, and when hearing the lullaby, he thinks of how sweet the girl must have been. However, Bernat interrupts his thoughts by reminding him of the present time, bringing him back to reality.

Italiano:
