In 2005, Glenn and the band he formed won a Battle Of The Bands competition on the island of Maui. With numerous performances already under his belt, Glenn formed Maoli in early 2008 with a new lineup of talented musicians. This Fall marks the release of Maoli's full-length debut album entitled, Groovin, on Pacific Island Records. The album's lead single, No One, is already receiving airplay statewide and is gaining popularity on island music airwaves. Other standout tracks from Maoli include the heartfelt Write Me A Letter, a song about missing a loved one, featuring Malino’s Braddah Vince and the uptempo, Groovin’, featuring the sweet vocal sounds of Piilani Arias.

Clothes scattered on the mattress
You were humming your get-ready song
White towel and no makeup
Watching you get made up
Making me wanna stay where we are
I can't help but want you
I got something for you
I think will fit you just right
Oh baby, I would look good on you
C'mon and try me on, let's see if it's true
Baby, I would look good on you
I think that you would look good on me too
I wanna be your black dress
Hold you like a silhouette
Trace you with my fingertips
I wanna be the summer wind
Kissin on your skin
I could be the red on your lips
Oh baby, I would look good on you
C'mon and try me on, see if it's true, oh yeah
Baby, I would look good on you
I think that you would look good on me too
I can't help but want you
I can't help but try
I wanna be the moonlight
Shining in your eyes
Oh baby, I would look good on you
C'mon and try me on, let's see if it's true, oh yeah
Baby, I would look good on you
I think that you would look good on me too
Baby, I would look good on
Baby, I would look good on
Baby, I would look good on you
I would look good on
Baby, I would look good on
Baby, I would look good on you
I would look good on you
The lyrics to Maoli's song "I Would Look Good on You" depict a romantic and intimate moment between two individuals. The singer walks in on their partner who is in the process of getting ready, with clothes scattered on the mattress and a white towel wrapped around them. The partner is humming their "get-ready song" as they apply makeup. The scene captivates the singer, making them want to stay right where they are.
The singer expresses their desire for their partner, acknowledging that they can't resist wanting them and trying to win them over. They believe they have something that would fit their partner perfectly, metaphorically stating that they would "look good" on them. The singer longs to be intimately close to their partner, comparing themselves to a black dress that holds and traces their partner's silhouette, as well as being the summer wind, kissing their skin, and the red on their lips. The singer's love and attraction are intense, and they envision themselves as the perfect complement to their partner, expressing that their partner would also look good on them.
