Entitled Dancing, it is the result of many years spent drafting ideas, writing and re-writing songs, and crafting and polishing recordings. With a string of hits to his name as front man of Mean Mr Mustard (their reworking of the classic Buttercup has become somewhat of a National Anthem in SA) and more recently his solo single Dancing, his songs have dominated radio playlists countrywide.
The album is the product of various musical collaborations, mostly with long-time friends and writing partners Barry and Meagan Sheare, who both co-wrote a number of tracks on the album.
Mark was born in the Eastern Cape and spent his childhood in Keiskammahoek, a beautiful coastal area between Port Alfred and East London.
