Eddie was a father figure to me, hear me out
Having a dad that wasn’t there wasn’t hard. I had a great mom and she did what she could but every damn time I watched Smackdown, I was glued to the TV when Eddie was on it. Pretending that I was his lost son lol almost making a skit of it.
A lot of people would make fun of that at school and I didn’t care. I would tell Latino Heat! to the teachers when they asked why I act like the class clown and I would make this back story that I’m waiting for my dad to finally acknowledge me.
As I grew older and found out that Eddie died, I felt like I lost a family figure. My “dad” died and it hit me so hard that my mom had to pull me out of school. I was so heartbroken that I would never see him again on the stage.
I’m 33 years old now. I saw that someone said that Eddie wasn’t a A rated wrestler and that fueled a fire in me. Eddie was everything a wrestler should be. Yes, did he have a skit of “Lie, Cheat & Steal” but he also loved to please the fans.
So here I am, a grown man, looking at these videos feeling heartbreak again but I will always remember the happiness he filled in my heart. Thanks for being the dad figure I always wanted and here’s to yelling your famous words in my quiet work place.
VIVA LA RAZA!!!

@TwiztinUpBlunts naw good taste
@asmaaebrahim7979
He killed his wife and kid while I am not a fan of what he did but he went downhill after Eddie died not to mention he took some of nastiest head injuries which likely what drove him mad add that with depression which was a recipe for disaster
@Hellraiser988
@Asmaa Ebrahim medical professionals even conclude that
@kylesylvester5635
@Hellraiser988 no matter how great of a wrestler he was he did an absolutely awful and horrible thing and there’s nothing that can change that
@triggerbogarin9702
This hit big time... At the time HHH was full heel... To see him hug Chris like that at the end of the match is just a sight that has never gone away in my head
@0n3st
Honestly, 2023 at 33, I still feel the same. Seeing everyone openly emotional and out of "character"... Rocked me as a teen.
@WallKenshiro
Because it wasn't Hunter who huged him, it was Paul.
