In 2002 Mark won the second series of Celebrity Big Brother. After being invited to perform on stage with Robbie Williams at Knebworth, he returned to the spotlight and signed a deal with Island/Universal Records. In August 2003, Owen returned to the charts with the Top 5 hit, Four Minute Warning, which remained in the Top 40 for eight weeks. His second album, In Your Own Time, was released in November 2003, entering the charts at number 59. After a second single, Alone Without You, charted at number 26, Owen was dropped by Island/Universal Records.
In April 2004 he established his own record company, Sedna Records. He released his third solo album, How the Mighty Fall in 2005, which was recorded at Sunset Studios, Los Angeles in 2004. In February 2006 he released Hail Mary as a single from the album.
In 2005 Mark rejoined the newly reformed Take That and has been enjoying chart success with them ever since. He still plans, however, to continue working on solo projects.
Are You With Me

Through the valley of a roadside.
Taking a walk through the valley of a roadside,
On a sunny afternoon.
Smoking a smoke.
Through the streets of a poppy field.
Smoking a smoke, through the streets of a poppy field,
On a sunny afternoon.
There's a stop sign this time, I'm going through.
Are you with me,
On my journey?
Are you with me, in the search for the sunshine,
On a sunny afternoon?
Now I'm driving in my car,
Down the path of a hillside,
On a sunny afternoon.
Holding your hand,
Down a lane made for lovers,
On a sunny afternoon.
I'm travelling down a man made avenue;
There's a stop sign, this time I'm going through.
[REPEAT CHORUS]
I'm travelling down a man made avenue;
There's a stop sign this time, I'm going through.
The song "Ride With Me" by Mark Owen takes the listener on a journey through various scenic routes. The lyrics paint a vivid picture of the road trip, through the valley of a roadside, streets of a poppy field, and man-made avenues. The artist seems to be enjoying the simple pleasures of life, taking a walk and smoking a smoke in the midst of nature's beauty on a sunny afternoon.
As the song progresses, the artist drives through the path of a hillside and down a lane made for lovers, holding someone's hand. The chorus asks whether the listener is with him on this journey in search of the sunshine on a sunny afternoon. The repeated lines of travelling down a man-made avenue and going through a stop sign signify the artist's determination to keep moving forward, even if there are obstacles in the way.
The song's soothing melody and gentle lyrics showcase the comfort that comes from navigating through life's twists and turns. The search for happiness, and ultimately the sunshine, is a universal human experience. "Ride With Me" encourages the listener to enjoy the journey and find joy in the simple things in life as they move forward towards their destination.
