I was 4 years old in 97’. My dad’s mate ran a used cassettes/vinyl shop. I remember him bringing home a metal bucket full of random cassettes for me to listen to as all I wanted to do at that age was sit in front of the hifi, headphones on, zoning out to music. Recently the words jam and spoon re-entered my mind. Looked it up and here it is. Mind blown. All my hairs immediately stood up. Probably the track that got me deep into electronic music.

This is almost the only thing, I listen to at the moment. I see other people write (here and to other Stella/J&S vids on UT), that they at the same time, both gets sad and happy. I`m totally there also. Love the track, especially the last "Hold me, love me"-part. But it gets me sad anyway. Because I miss those days so much, and when a track so perfect as this returns (haven´t heard it for more than a decade), it gets in my head, and makes me think about the wrong decicions I´ve made in my life. +20 years ago when these tracks were new, I still had my opportunities. Wish that many things could have been changed, and I would if I stood there again in 93 or so. Had the world in front of me. Now, it´s just to get the best out of things. Still there´s time to do the right things, but I´m 49 and most of it lies behind me, without the possibilities that I once had. Well. That´s it. So, that´s why Stella (and more stuff from around 90-95, fx. K-Klass/Rhythm is a mystery) means so much. Love great music - and I know when I hear it. Was once a well-used dj, experienced lots of great parties and good nights, exact at that time. I´m fine, but hell, I miss it. Time flies, we´re getting old to fast.. One of the greatest records of all time. One cannot even argue otherwise. The first time I heard this out(already owned the vinyl) in a club was at the Red Zone - and what made the experience over the top ethereal was that they were having a fashion show of sorts, makeshift runway and all - the models walked and swayed to “Stella” as if they were part of the music itself - I still recall the tendrils of smoke drifting,
briefly enveloping their figures, the result was angelic silhouettes floating above a sea of blissful humans, both dancing and observing - this was the ONLY time I ever stayed (relatively) still w Stella playing...but it was all so mesmerizing - and one of my favorite club memories 🎶🎶💜😌💜🎶🎶

All I have to say is it has the best individual elements of all Jam n Spoon's trax together (the Age of Love acid beep, the trippy pianos from Odyssey To Ayoona, the Spanish guitar from Right In the Night, the breathless from...breathless female voice from...take your pick lol).
Stella has them all, plus that MASSIVE, spine-tingly rush inducing, mother of all trance riffs vibrating through your nervous system? generating it's own electromagnetic force inside your mind.
