A talented guitarist, he was known primarily for his brief stint in KISS, following the departure of Vinnie Vincent. Mark St John played on the Animalize album, but had to drop out of the tour, and consequently the band, due to arthritis in his hands. Following Kiss he worked with various artists including David Donato in the group White Tiger, and Peter Criss. In 1999, he released an EP, Mark St. John Project. In 2003 he released an all-instrumental album Magic Bullet Theory. Tragically, Mark died on April 5 2007 of a brain hemorrhage. He is greatly missed.
