Before the band dissolved in 1978, they managed to record material for an EP, a self-titled affair, posthumously released in 1980. Their EP, along with an early 7" and live tracks, were released as a compilation 78+ on Widowspeak in 1986. Atavistic re-released the compilation in 1996, and Mars' bassist Mark Cunningham released The Complete Studio Recordings in his own label Spooky Sound in 2003.

okay sorry this is a long comment but I just love this video so much
That initial shock at the beginning, going from carefree and childlike to seeing your entire planet instantly wiped out. Slowly walking back in and sitting down, looking at the monitor and seeing the static before trying to block it out as if nothing had happened. Watching them get more frustrated and hopeless when it becomes more and more clear that there is no way out. The changes in brightness and color depending on the mood. All of the little details and motifs, like the the tally marks, the way that the food goes from mostly stocked down to the last remaining can, the recurring static, it's absolutely amazing. The part at 0:26 caught my attention, like the cat considers the option but is still too angry and refuses to give up until the breaking point. Then the part at 0:29 when they look out the window, either considering the option again or trying to comprehend that Earth really did just explode, and then back at the tally marks as they realize that no one is coming for them. The initial reaction, trying to cover it up and ignore it with distractions, slowly wearing down and then getting angry at the truth and scratching through the drawings, and then those last shots that show the empty room- sorry that this is just a really long ramble, but I love all of your art, but I'm absolutely stunned by this video and how much you were able to tell in such a short time!
