She is best known for formerly being the lead singer of a band named after her stage persona, releasing one studio album, two EPs and plenty of other songs. The band came to an end in early 2015, following a split with her long-time boyfriend and previous band member, Titanic Sinclair.

Following an extended musical hiatus, Argo released her long-awaited debut solo single, "Angry", in April 2022. Almost 11 months after Angry, she released "I Can Only Be Me", with the same cover as the previous single.

incorrect. Her and Titanic were high school sweethearts who created Mars Argo together. Then they had a brutal breakup and she has posted on her tumblr that she had PTSD from the whole relationship. Poppy simply replaced Mars, in a way it works because of the whole "pop stars are disposable and can be easily replaced" thing Titanic seems to be saying with his work. However like most great artists and bands, I love Mars Argo so much more when they were just starting, even up to their newer projects as you could tell Mars (ie Brittany) was her own person, even when in Character and a better singer than Poppy in my opinion. I am not 100% sure, someone please correct me if this is wrong, but I believe that they co-wrote their work, which is what made it so good. Then I think the fame kinda got to Titanic's head, he became really controlling with somewhat of a god complex so Brittany ran out and he deleted pretty much all their content and replaces her with That Poppy, even though their general look is different, he has copied mars argo content and repeated it in her videos. Brittany could have been the next Gwen Stefani, I think, suffering with PTSD is horrible in my experience. it makes it hard, but I am really hoping she makes a solo comeback with the grunge/alt thing she has going and just allows her star to shine. What I feel is the saddest thing about Poppy is she is forced to delete all her previous online materiel in order to work with titanic and she cant even give an interview out of character. That Poppy really is just a Titanic Sinclair puppet. It's sad as I think she enjoyed the whole project at first, but recently rumors stirred in how she was feeling so trapped in the whole thing. I wonder who she was pre poppy.

The title of the song is referring to a joint that has been laced with a drug called PCP. From the National Institutes of Health, "The effects include hallucinations, disorientation, impaired coordination, paranoia, sexual disinhibition, and visual disturbances."

The feelings of disorientation, or brain fog, is being used as a metaphor in this song. The line "I don't even remember my name," May be a reference to these effects. Also, "I can see your smile from a mile away," is likened to a hallucination here.

Well, from what I've read, Titanic wrote all her songs and produced them and stuff. So when they broke up, she stopped putting out music because he was behind half of the work. It's a shame, they are great together and she has a good voice.

She disappeared when they broke up she found out about the cult n she walked out (or was killed, her whereabouts nowadays truthfully is unknown.. I find it hard to believe she's in ny) and he found then he found that poppy chick n came back.. Trying to steal marsys character ego for her own fame.
