He was involved with the Survival label (UK) and collaborated with Dave Rome, amongst others. He recorded many songs on his own, most of which never saw the light of day, but some of them can be heard on his first solo released, the 4 song EP entitled L’amant Electronique (selected tracks were recorded between 1980 and 1984 in his own “Feedback Studios” in Battersea, London). Martin Lloyd delivers vocals via the vocoder and carefully layers synth melodies which range from upbeat and danceable, to what could be the soundtrack to a 1981 post-apocalyptic science fiction film.
Martin Lloyd passed away in May 2013, due to liver failure. He was 62.

Thank you for another wonderful video!
And hooray for Starliner! I'm glad they made it. Hopefully they can finally get going as a an active space launch system now.
The Marsquake is really interesting. It seems there's still some heat inside the planet. It will take continued observation (and readings from other parts of Mars) to say for sure, but it seems unlikely this was a once-in-a-century event. And that suggests that Mars may be more arelogically active than we knew.
Looking at the picture of InSight's solar panels covered with dust, it's a shame that such a thing could end the mission. I wonder if it would be possible in future missions to build solar panels that can shake the dust off? Maybe they could twitch like a dog drying its fur.
Sagittarius A* is really something. It's incredible that the astronomers have managed to take a picture of an object so far away and shrouded with dust clouds. It wasn't that long ago that black holes were theoretical ideas, then they found indirect evidence of their existence, and now here's an image of pure spacetime distortion. Maybe there's another universe on the other side...

Marcus, fantastic channel and great show, as always. You and your staff, please keep up the amazing work. I used to do video work and I know how long it takes to put together a 20+ minute presentation like this.
I was always confused by the name Sagittarius A*. I thought it was a star...
Since it's a black hole, should we not call it, "Sagittarius A-Hole"?
I would be much less confused, but much more amused...

Yea!
thanks!
Question: the solar units getting dusted, since they unfold, why not retract them a bit & shake-flip them about a bit? I can understand that this may be beyond the abilities they could program in now OTA. In the original design though?
Same with that cute helli!
even if you can't get all the dust off, it must be able to get some off!
From a design perspective, maybe tear off protective covers? Even just one would double the use-time!

Little mistake at 6:00. I meant to say "First booster static fire on the Orbital Launch Mount."
Booster 3 did do a limited static fire on a test pad middle of last year. Oops.
