1. A Moscow-based dream pop duo.
Band-members Masha and Egor were both born in Russia’s Far East and met each other in Moscow in 2018. They decided to make music together because they shared a mutual love of early 90’s dream pop. So their sound is a nice blend of post-punk sounds, and dreamy 90’s indie pop, reminiscent of the likes of The Sundays and Adorable, but with a new sheen in the style of bands like Hatchie and Hazel English.
2. A dubstep and jungle Drum'N'Bass mashup project. The beats are simillar to Rusko, AC Slater, Remarc, Shy Fx, WAR Imprint, and Squarepusher.
Only one album, Mashmelon, was released. It's an album of remixes/mashups of the artists Soulja Boy, Notorious B.I.G., M.I.A., Toots and the Maytals, Dj Unk, Lil Wayne, and others.

It's not that easy to feel undone
But then i woke up, i woke up to start anew
I feel that i don't belong to you
do i have a friend of mine?
who can help identify
what was going all this time
were we friends or something more
i was yours from head to toe
I tried so long to make a spark from a stone
I tried to melt your soul but it takes too long
But then i woke up, i woke up to face the truth
The greatest fire ain't warm your blues
The lyrics of Marshmello's song "Melt" convey a sense of longing, self-discovery, and the realization of one's own worth. The opening lines, "I waited so long for time to come, It's not that easy to feel undone," suggest the anticipation of a significant moment or change in the singer's life. They express the anticipation of something transformative but also acknowledge the difficulty of letting go and moving on.
The subsequent lines, "But then I woke up, I woke up to start anew, I feel that I don't belong to you," imply a newfound awakening and a realization that the singer no longer belongs to someone or something. This can be interpreted as breaking free from a toxic relationship or situation where the singer's worth was diminished or taken for granted.
The following verse raises introspective questions about the nature of the relationship. The lines "Do I have a friend of mine? Who can help identify, What was going all this time, Was it peace or was it war, Were we friends or something more, I was yours from head to toe" highlight the confusion and uncertainty the singer experiences regarding the true nature of the relationship. The singer seeks clarity and understanding, questioning whether the relationship was based on genuine friendship or something more.
The chorus, "I tried so long to make a spark from a stone, I tried to melt your soul but it takes too long, But then I woke up, I woke up to face the truth, The greatest fire ain't warm your blues," suggests the singer's attempts to ignite passion or change within the other person. However, these efforts are in vain as the person remains unmoved. The realization dawns that even the most intense efforts may not be able to change someone's circumstances or emotional state.
Overall, "Melt" portrays the journey of self-discovery, letting go, and finding inner strength. It reflects themes of breaking free, questioning relationships, and the realization that one's efforts to change others may not always yield the desired results.
