The EP received strong reviews including a 4.5 out of 5 star rating in rock bible Blunt Magazine, and the band secured support slots with high profile Australian bands including Dead Letter Circus, Twelve Foot Ninja & Electric Horse as well as being invited to support UK band I Am Giant at their Brisbane show.

Several tracks from the EP “Broken Wires”, “Awake” & “Courage Under Fire” received airplay on rock radio shows around Australia and overseas, including 4ZZZ, 2FBi, 3RRR & 3PBS over 40 stations in the US, UK, Asia, South America and Europe, including BBC1 & BBC6 in London.

The “Courage Under Fire” EP was recorded at Loose Stones Studios with producer Matt Bartlem and engineer Tyse Lee; with ARIA award-winning producer Forrester Savell (Sing Sing, Melb) and producer J.R. McNeely (Nashville TN, US) taking on mixing duties. Mastering was by Grammy Award winner Tom Coyne (Pink, Adele, Cage The Elephant) at Sterling Sound in New York.

Live, the band pours their heart & soul into their performances; creating an on-stage dynamic that sonically translates the emotional impacts and intricacies in their studio recordings.

Mass Sky Raid have returned to Loose Stones and are currently working on their sophomore EP, with the first single due out later this year and an East Coast tour in the pipeline for Spring.
