New World
Massive Attack & Bjork Lyrics

Train-whistles, a sweet clementine
Blueberries, dancers in line
Cobwebs, a bakery sign

Ooooh - a sweet clementine
Ooooh - dancers in line
Ooooh ...

If living is seeing
I'm holding my breath
In wonder - I wonder
What happens next?
A new world, a new day to see

I'm softly walking on air
Halfway to heaven from here
Sunlight unfolds in my hair

Ooooh - I'm walking on air
Ooooh - to heaven from here
Ooooh ...

If living is seeing
I'm holding my breath
In wonder - I wonder
What happens next?
A new world, a new day to see

I just cried listening to the overture of this song, whoever arranged it, what an incredible piece of art you have produced!

@kirkchan7726

Vincent Mendoza arranged "Overture" : ) Bjork is an extremely accomplished string arranger tho (see "vulnicura strings") :)

@kirkchan7726

And it always makes me cry too, I think it's her most viscerally powerful work (overture)

@nashjacinto9473

One of most epic. Thank you Bjork!

@MILOgirl1

This is the opening song played by the orchestra at Bjork's Vespertine concert in the Royal Opera House. I thought it sounded so great but I couldn't find out which song it was! thank you for uploading this <3

@BjorksMusic

+Adam Katana You're Most Welcome : ) It's a great song and her concert at the Royal Opera House is my favorite concert.

@pierrejeanes

It means you haven't seen her movie dancing in the dark????

@ollietaro

It's a shame New World is not on The Vespertine Tour DVD 😢
