Just a kid with a dream
I might be young, but I have aspirations and ambitions like everyone else.

I rap cause I love it and yeah it's a lot of hard work
Music is my passion, and although it's difficult, I am willing to work hard to pursue my dreams.

Despite my young age, I have big goals for myself as an artist and want to be the best I can be.

Spread love not hate 'cause even when it feels at times like it's less preferred
In a world where negativity and hate are prominent, I believe in promoting love and positivity, even when it's difficult.

Once you say mean things... You never can quite take back those awful words
Words have power, and once you say something hurtful or negative, you cannot take it back; it sticks with the person forever.

Look at who I am and judge my actions not what people say
I want people to judge me based on my actions and who I am, rather than what others say about me.

I really I wanna do right in the world but I disagree with people's hate
I strive to make a positive impact on the world and its people, but I do not agree or condone hate and negativity.

So I'mma keep chasing after mine
I will continue to pursue my dreams and aspirations despite any obstacles or setbacks.

HA do it for the ones that believe the same
I do what I do for the people who share my beliefs and aspirations.

Cause you can like me or not... But there's no doubt about it - I was born this way (Chyeah!)
Regardless of whether people like or dislike me, I am who I am and am proud of it.

I am MattyB, and I make music because it's enjoyable and fun. But above all, I want to improve my craft and achieve success.

I hope that kids my age will see that nobody can determine who they will become; it's up to them to make a positive impact on the world. While I will spread love even to those who are unkind, it is important to note that my parents do not force me to make music.

And I ain't no cocky little brat And I ain't gonna make money off this track So if you're gonna hate here's what I say BACK
Despite being confident and motivated, I am not arrogant or ungrateful. I do not make music solely for profit, and I will not let negativity bring me down.

If I said my heart was beating loud If I could escape the hate somehow If I just respond with love right now Would you hold it against me? Cause this is my destiny And I need to speak up for what's right So if I just respond with love right now Would you hold it against me?
If I express my emotions and try to escape negative criticism and hate by responding with love, would people still judge me? Making music and spreading positivity is part of my identity and purpose, and I believe in speaking up for what is right.
