U toku zavrsnih godina gimnazije nastaje njegovo interesovanje za elektronsku pop muziku, koje preresta u pasiju.
Sa drugom iz gimnazije osniva duet Max & Intro.
Ubrzo nastaje prvi veliki hit pod naslovom OSTAVI SVE, cime se duo svrstava medju pionire TECHNO POP zvuka ranih osamdesetih. Prvo diskografsko izdanje, pod naslovom “WE DESIGN THE FUTURE” ostvareno je u tada najvecoj izdavackoj kuci na Balkanu, PGP RTB, GODINE 1984.
Uporedo sa nastankom novih kompozicija, 1985-1986. (BEOGRADSKA DEVOJKA, LOS JE DAN…) sledi niz nastupa i gostovanja u popularnim jugoslovenskim medijima.
