Maxo Kream Lyrics

It's a four in my liter, tell a hoe, change her demeanor (Ooh, ooh)
Got a whole lot of this shit
Might spend your savings this evening
I'ma make it all back, that's the vision (yeah)
Fuck your bitch, real quick this season (ooh, ooh)
I remember when a nigga ain't have shit
And I'll put it in your face, better believe it
Be-be-be-be, believe it, be-be-be-be, believe it (ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh)
Be-be-be-be, believe it, be-be-be-be, believe it (yeah, yeah, yeah-yeah)
Be-be-be-be, believe it, be-be-be-be, believe it
I remember when a nigga ain't have shit
And I'll put it in your face, better believe it

I remember when a nigga ain't have (ain't have)
I was down broke on my ass (all broke)
Now Lambo truck, paper tags (vroom)
Hellcat, I'ma do the whole dash (I'm gone)
Sleepin' on the floor, I was young and bummy
Ask for dough, they said, "No", they wouldn't leave me money
Had to go out the state when they came to my war
I ain't need no one to go get it for me
Put my trust in my fate like I'm Biggie, Poppa
I bought choppas for bottles that pocket watchin' (boom, boom, boom)
Used to laugh at my dreams, people used to doubt me
Now it's many Balenci' when I go shoppin'
Houston, Texas, I rep it for ever, ever (be-be-be-be, believe it)
Smokin' dope, pour a four, mix the shit together (be-be-be-be, believe it)
Drop the top on arenas since Harvey, Katrina
Know my city fell off but we back together

Young nigga gettin' that lettuce (yeah)
Old head start gettin' jealous (yeah)
They never broke bread, never fed us (yeah)
Mislead, old heads never led us (yeah)
Gettin' bread, old head wouldn't let us (yeah)
Put the bread on your like some lettuce
Every red to his head 'tell 'em catch up
Two shots ahead, oh that's how they left us
Got it out the mud like a refugee
Now I sip mud in the penthouse suite
Rollie plain jane, bust down AP
PJ plane to the SRT
Pull up, left truck in the (be-be-be-be, believe it)
Hunnid bands in my hand, got them racks on me (be-be-be-be, believe it)
Sellin' packs lowkey, got the strap on me
I'm the flyest Crip that you ever gon' see

It's a four in my liter, tell a hoe, change her demeanor (ooh, ooh)
Got a whole lot of this shit
Might spend your savings this evening

Believe it, baby

Overall Meaning

Maxo Kream's song BELIEVE is a track about the rapper's journey from rags to riches. The opening lines of the song are about his current lifestyle - he has lots of money and a lot of lean (a concoction of codeine cough syrup, soda, and candy). He boasts about his riches and warns that he might even spend someone else's savings if he feels like it. However, he quickly adds that he will make it all back because he has the vision to do so. He also talks about how he can take someone's girlfriend quickly this season, showing his confidence and charisma.

Maxo Kream then reflects on his difficult past and how he overcame it. He used to be broke and destitute, sleeping on the floor, and being denied money when he asked for it. He worked hard and made his way stateside to achieve his goals. He also put his faith in fate and trusted it to guide him through tough times. Now, he is the one riding in Lambo trucks, and he can afford expensive items like Balenciaga clothes. Maxo Kream also offers a shoutout to his hometown of Houston, Texas.

The outro of the song is a repetition of the chorus - Maxo Kream declares that he wants people to believe him and his journey to riches. He is proud of what he's been able to achieve and wants others to know it.
