Jersey
Mayday Parade/Mayday Parade Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

'Cause Jersey just got colder and
I'll have you know I'm scared to death
That everything that you had said to me was just
A lie until you left
Now I'm hoping just a little bit stronger
Hold me up just a little bit longer
I'll be fine, I swear
I'm just gone beyond repair

Let's write a song that we can dance to
'Cause they all wanna listen
Just to know how it sounds when
I do that thing you know that I do
When I find inspiration
This is me breaking down when

Jersey just got colder and
I'll have you know I'm scared to death
That everything that you had said to me was just
A lie until you left
Now I'm hoping just a little bit stronger
Hold me up just a little bit longer
I'll be fine, I swear
I'm just gone beyond repair

Let's write a song that we can sing to
And you can lead the choir
And put the hook where it hurts most
And you threw a spark that lit the candle
That set us all on fire
And sent a flame down the east coast

Jersey just got colder and
I'll have you know I'm scared to death
That everything that you had said to me was just
A lie until you left
Now I'm hoping just a little bit stronger
Hold me up just a little bit longer
I'll be fine, I swear
I'm just gone beyond repair

And I should have been your everything
I'm now at the end of my eternity
And I will sleep to have the darkest dreams
This just won't seem right to me
I close my eyes and beg for peace

Jersey just got colder and
Jersey just got colder and
Jersey just got colder and

Jersey just got colder and
I'll have you know I'm scared to death
That everything that you had said to me was just
A lie until you left
Now I'm hoping just a little bit stronger
Hold me up just a little bit longer

I'll be fine, I swear
I'm just gone beyond repair

I miss Jason's voice. He just adds that certain emotion and uniqueness. Not to mention he blends perfectly with derek which makes this song so perfect.

@isackpurplegang7995

Look up go radio or he has his own independent stage name on some good songs. None of which are main stream

@Lex02615

Go radio disbanded a long time ago and I followed some of their songs. It seems like jason also took a break from music aside from their most recent collab with derek and cody.

@matte.9920

@lex This is so wrong, Go Radio reunited in 2019 and are currently working on new music.

@ryanhartigan5573

me too. I would pay hundred of dollars just to hear another album with him and Derek together

@nitsuj182

Why did he leave tho ?

@HatingThePlayer

Mayday will always be that one underrated band of the year.

@amirawazwaz7122

No other band gets me this hyped up singing any song. I can’t help screaming every lyric with an intense passion no matter what. My heart is broken when I listen to any song even if I was happy prior to listening.

@girlywolfpup1588

I'm singing along without looking at the lyrics, oh my god I love Mayday Parade!

@UltimateIrishRebel
