Balázs Pejkó and Ferenc Papp met Pál Séfel (DJ Cadik) then and started to establish their musical vision together. The basics of their limitlessly open world are the jazz and the hip hop, which are implemented by the engineer knowledge and the love of electronics.

The music of the Membran is mediated by dj Cadik. Among dj Palotai, he is the resident of the famous underground musical club night in Budapest the ‘Rewind’. Cadik’s programs ‘Totoya Club’ and ‘Jungle Book’ have been broadcasted by the Tilos Radio for many years now.

In the Membran’s special world of sound the acoustic instruments are settled as well as the electronic tools. That is how the ‘party-tunes’ and the slower beats with a unique style are created.

On the debut album titled ‘Closed’ 30 tracks can be found by the compilation of the last 10 years of their work. On the electronic beats many instruments are featured such as Jew’s harp, Cimbalom, Saxophone, or Sitar and others. Moreover several great vocalists gave their voice to the beats like Dudley Perkins, MC Dynamite, MC Det, Blu Rum 13, and MC Zeek.

The Membran often works on motion picture’s music and have recently won the Best Original Soundtrack at the Hungarian Film Week, which was composed for ‘Happy New Life’ directed by Árpád Bogdán.

A Membran név mögött DJ Cadik, Papp Ference és Pejkó Balázs "rejtőzködik". A formációról már a '90-es évek közepe óta lehet hallani - hol többet, hol kevesebbet. Úgy látszik mostanában érezték elérkezettnek az időt, hogy összehozzák a várva várt, első Membran albumot. Már több, mint 10 éve zenélgetnek együtt a a tagok és mára sikerült egy kiforrott, egyedi hangzást létrehozniuk: hip-hop és jazz, amit az elektronika hoz közös nevezőre.

Számos saját dal és remix mellett (mint pl a minimum zseniálisra sikerült Másfél - Idegen anyag remix) a filmzenekészítésből is kivették a részüket: egy dallal szerepeltek az Egyetleneim válogatásán, az Aranyváros című filmhez is készítettek zenét, a Bogdán Árpád nevével fémjelzett Boldog Új Élet c. film hanganyaga teljes egészében a trió keze munkáját dícséri - olyannyira, hogy az utóbbiért megkapták a 38. Magyar Filmszemle „Legjobb Eredeti Fillmzene” díját.

Közel 10 év munkájából válogattak a Closed című lemezre, melyre egyébként számos érdekes közreműködést is sikerült összehozni: Dudley Perkins, Blu Rum 13, MC Dynamite, magyar oldalról pedig Vázsonyi János (szaxofon), Kárpáti Dodi (Quimby), Salamon Eszter (Másfél) és Csurkulya József (Besh O Drom) segédkezett.
