The dream that was once beautiful turned into a mockery

A person was with me as my partner for a short period

This individual made my life feel exciting and fulfilling

He took my childhood in his stride
This person was instrumental in shaping my childhood days

But he was gone when autumn came
The person left when the time was right for them to go, as the seasons changed

The vision is for them to have a long-lasting relationship

But there are dreams that cannot be
Some dreams and desires may never be fulfilled

However, the present situation is a far cry from the expectations
