Have watched this more than a few times, best part is the pile of bones next to the delicate icicles...love it!
Do you sell them from your house or have a 'selling site' where you list your work? I did check out the museum, thanks again!

Scottwood Research

Hi Roberta! I’m so glad that you are enjoying this one! It is fascinating to watch the glass move! I do sell my ornaments. At the moment we do not have a website to sell on… ☹️ so we are just selling out of the house! I will be making a ‘late’ batch next week when I get more oxygen…. I am still getting together an Etsy page…hopefully it will be soon. I can always ship! Xoxox R- 🌹✨🙏🏽

THANK YOU for this video! 👏 I have been trying to figure out how to work this glass for 3 years. I kept trying to blow it out which ruins the scallop lining. One thing that doesn’t come across in the video is to actually work this glass in a kind of cool flame for boro. Inner flame only on these Hellcat torches. Your technique is perfect for anyone with a smaller torch (MiniCC, Nortel Minor, Inner flame of Hellcat.) Ran out of the tubing I had left, need to go order more! ❤‍🔥🔥😁

Scottwood Research

Hello Linda! I am so glad you saw this video!🤗 It makes me happy to know this scallop tubing technique is useful. I mostly just work with 104 glass…so my apologies for not mentioning the flame settings! 😵‍💫
Thanks for noticing that my flame is cool for Boro glass. I never would have thought to even say that!
The Hellcat is a great torch for both glasses….I love mine! Thanks again and take care, Linda ✨
Cheers to you! R- 🔥🌹💫✨🌹🌹😁

Vikki Titus

So lovely! Do you close the second end of the tube before or after you anneal?

Scottwood Research

Hi Vikki! I do close the end off. I just make sure that it doesn’t suck back in on itself…. 😂😂😂
Thank you so much for your comment / question!! R- 🌹🔥👋🏽

Gloria Gutridge

Beautiful. I love all your videos.

I haven’t tried boro yet. Hopefully someday. Still working on heat control with soft glass

Scottwood Research

Gloria, when I first tried Boro I was fascinated by its special properties. It is definitely worth a try. Some people find it easier!
Thanks so much for your comment!! 🌹🌹🌹Happy Holidays to you! R- ✨✨🔥
