But it was the heat Stud was tossing off the field that was raising eyebrows and bobbing heads. It wasnβt until the end of his Junior year that Stud would hone his hidden hip-hop skills. After two strong seasons at Duke, including an All-American Freshman year, Tommy John Surgery put Stud on the sidelines. Suddenly rhyming became an outlet to pass the time. But his flow was too impressive to be overlooked. Studβs knack for clever rhymes and witty punches caught the attention of his peers and earned the respect of local artists. One in particular, Gerven, quickly noticed Studβs swagger. One trip to Boston, four tracks and a photo shoot later, the duo launched Mike Stud as we know him. Now a graduate student at Georgetown University, Studβs taking it day by dayβa tough task when your hit single βClub Fantasyβ is bumping non-stop on the radio in Providence and soon to be in Boston and D.C.
Bottom line, the kidβs just what his name suggestsβ-a Stud. Clearly the accomplishments heβs achieved in his life are a testament to his passions. Whether itβs baseball or his academics, Mike Stud has consistently found a way to do things bigger and better than most. With very little musical background, heβs already causing a stir in the industry. Armed with fresh beats and his signature flow, Studβs bringing a smarter type of fresh to the hip-hop scene. The kidβs got it. Now itβs just a matter of time before everyone knows it.

So next time ain't gonna be with me
I'm on Sunset cooking in the lab, 4 AM
Got my girl at the crib foreplaying
And I'm cruising down the motherfucking Boulevard
You should cop the album
Man, that shit feel like a rookie card, I should sign that shit
And I go out on the weekend
That's why I'm tweaking
Pour it up
That Jack Daniels, wash away my sadness
For the money and the fame and the antics
Man, god damn it
So pour me some Jack Daniels
That Jack Daniels, last man standing
For the money and the fame and the antics
For the pain they don't really see the damage
Just me and my boy Jack Daniels
I do it for my mama back at home
I'm doing everything I can
Yes you know, yes you know
And my fam got problems, I got issues
And you do too, that's why I miss you
Even when I'm with you, girl I fuck with you
But I feel like I got nowhere to go
Nowhere to hide, no one's inside
The reasons why I don't know
No, I don't know
So pour it up
That Jack Daniels, wash away my sadness
For the money and the fame and the antics
Man, god damn it
So pour me some Jack Daniels
That Jack Daniels, last man standing
For the money and the fame and the antics
For the pain they don't really see the damage
Just me and my boy Jack Daniels
Fuck the fame, I don't want it no more
Let's hit a day on the morn'
That Mary Jane marijuana when I wanna
So I got me a girl I love a lot more
And she's the only one I can stop for
The game driving me away like a cop car
I miss you, but I think I miss myself more
In "Jack Daniels," Mike Stud is sharing his thoughts and feelings about his life and career as a musician. He talks about how he's always chasing the next opportunity, but he knows deep down that it won't bring him true happiness. He's up late at night working on his music, while his girlfriend is at home waiting for him. He feels like he's swimming in shallow thoughts and is struggling to find meaning in his life. He turns to alcohol, specifically Jack Daniels, as a temporary escape from his problems. He believes that the alcohol can wash away his sadness and help him forget about the pain and damage that comes with the money and fame of the music industry.
Stud recognizes that he's not the only one going through tough times. His family has problems, and he knows that his fans are also struggling with their own issues. He acknowledges that he's not perfect either and has his own set of problems and issues. He misses his girlfriend and feels like he has nowhere to go or hide. He doesn't want the fame and success if it means sacrificing his personal relationships and happiness. In the end, he decides that he wants to spend time with his loved ones and enjoy life without the pressure of the music industry.
Overall, "Jack Daniels" is a heartfelt song about the struggles that come with fame and the importance of finding happiness outside of success.

What do I think this means....?
I think you really summed it up with the outro when you said,"Fuck the fame, I don't want it no more...The game driving me away like a cop car I miss you, but I think I miss myself more".
I think you've reached a point in your career where your initial goal to be famous has been achieved so now you're like I'm not really feeling this rap shit anymore. So, now that you've reached this point you've got to change your motivation away from trying to be more famous or have more money to just enjoying making music and making crowds go wild lol. No more "me me me and my fame" and more like, "How can I give more to people while still doing what I love which is making music?"
I think in the mean time maybe you should take a vacation and start playing some more baseball again so you can find your way back to your love of rapping and making music again. Michael Jordan did something similar. He quit basketball to play baseball for 2 years, but I'm sure that in those 2 years he found that original love he had for basketball, which compelled him to play it again and then win 3 more championships. I mean I don't think you need 2 years lol, but I think you understand what I'm saying.
Just my thought

Most underrated artist of all time but soon to be the most known and thats a bet. Been listening to you since the soundcloud days. The Summer remix is a classic. And these songs like Jack Daniels got me through one of the toughest times of my life. Thank you for all the music you make. I will always be listening.
