1. MILKY was created by two Italian producers, Giordano Trivellato and Giuliano Sacchetto, who are responsible for a long line of hits. In 1995 they co-wrote “Don’t stop” by the Outhere Brothers that went gold in the UK and in many other countries. They also collaborated on the follow-up single “Boom boom boom”. In the last 10 years they have produced and written over 200 songs. Many of these became hits in France such as Juice T “Love you for life” and others had huge airplay in Italy and Europe like Jinny, Kina, Marvellous Melodicos, Silvia Coleman, JJ Brothers and Carol Bailey. Having met the producers a couple of years ago in a record shop in her home town Padova, Italy, singer Giuditta immediately sprang to mind when they were looking for a singer for this new exciting project. Immediately the three of them clicked. They began to work in the studio and this friendship and working relationship led to the recording of their first fantastic debut album “Star” which showcases Giuditta’s versatile vocals and ‘Milky’s great production techniques to produce a sparkling album of pop classics and sultry ballads.
2. Milky is a collaboration between Shazna Nessa and her (ex-)husband, Scottish indie pop mainstay Momus. They released their first song, "The Emperor of Oranges," on Siesta Records in 1997, followed at long length by their first and only LP Travels with a Donkey in 2002. Shazna has also recorded on Siesta under the moniker Maria Napoleon.

Oh, and I hear a voice that's calling me
saying do you know and do you care?
do you know and do you care?
So I'm gonna do what I have to do
and say what I have to say
and I'm gonna be what I have to be
saying "Won't you come along with me?"
Don't wanna cause no sorrow
don't wanna cause no pain
Oh well, I'm only gonna cause what I have to cause
until this land is free from shame
until this land is free from shame
So I'm gonna do what I have to do...
There's only one thing I know
I know we're not alone
There was a million here before we came
They'll be a million when we're gone
They'll be a million here when we're gone
So I'm gonna do what I have to do...
Oh, I'm afraid of trouble
Yes, I'm afraid of jail
Oh, but I'm more afraid of not to try
more afraid of what happens now if we fail
what happens now if we fail
So I'm gonna do what I have to do...
The song "What Can I Do" by Milky is an uplifting and inspirational song that is centered around the themes of unity, justice, and courage. The first two lines of the song, "All around this country, trouble in the air, Oh, and I hear a voice that's calling me," metaphorically depict the current state of the world under oppression and how there is a voice inside each one of us, urging us to take the initiative and make a difference. The singer then questions the listener whether they know and care about the injustices happening around the world. The underlying message is that we all have a responsibility to stand up for what is right and make a change.
In the following lines, the singer makes a commitment to do whatever they can to bring justice and make the world a better place, saying "So I'm gonna do what I have to do and say what I have to say, and I'm gonna be what I have to be, saying 'Won't you come along with me?'" Here, the singer acknowledges that the journey may be tough but it should not deter us from doing what is right.
The final verse of the song talks about the fear of failure and the fear of getting into trouble but what's more important is to try to make things better. The lyrics "Oh, but I'm more afraid of not to try, more afraid of what happens now if we fail" convey the message that if we don't try, we will never know what could've been possible, and we should not let our fears hold us back.
Overall, the song encourages listeners to be brave, come together, and work towards a better future for all. It is a reminder to everyone that they have the power to make a difference.
