I Love It
Minipop Kids Lyrics

were gone
You drove your car across the bridge. I
watched, you let it swim.
I threw your stuff into a bag and pushed it
down the stairs.
You drove your car across the bridge.
I got this feeling on the summer day when
you were gone
You drove your car across the bridge. I
watched, you let it swim.
I threw your stuff into a bag and pushed it
down the stairs.
You drove your car across the bridge.
I don't care, I love it, I don't care
You're on a different road, I'm in the milky
way
You want me down on earth, but i am up in
space
You're so, so hard to please, we gotta flip this
switch
You're from the 70's, but I'm a Kidz Bop kid!
I love it!
I love it!
I got this feeling on the summer day when
you were gone.
You drove your car across the bridge. I
watched, you let it swim.
I threw your stuff into a bag and pushed it
down the stairs.
You drove your car across the bridge.
I don't care, I love it.
I don't care, I love it, I love it.
I don't care, I love it, I don't care.
You're on a different road, I'm in the milky
way
You want me down on earth, but I am up in
space
You're so, so hard to please, we gotta flip the
switch
You're from the 70's, but I'm a Kidz Bop Kid!
I don't care, I love it.
I don't care, I love it, I love it.
I don't care, I love it.
I don't care, I love it, I love it.
I don't care.
I love it.
The lyrics to Minipop Kids' "I Love It" song describe a relationship that has ended, and one person trying to move on from it. The lyrics indicate that the singer in the song had a strong feeling of liberation or empowerment right after the person they were in a relationship with left them. The opening lines describe this feeling by saying, "I got this feeling on the summer day when you were gone. You drove your car across the bridge. I watched, you let it swim." This sentence suggests that the singer felt free after the other person left, and that the other person leaving was like a release of pressure for them.
The following lines in the chorus, "I don't care, I love it," emphasize the singer's determination to move on and not let the other person's departure affect them negatively. The use of repetition in the chorus drives home this point and builds a sense of confidence in the singer. Furthermore, the bridge of the song highlights the differences between the singer and the person they were in a relationship with, suggesting that they could never be together.
In conclusion, the song portrays a breakup that helped the singer move on, embrace their differences with their former partner, and accept their new life without that person. The repeated chorus's upbeat and empowering lyrics lighten the mood, and the elements of dance-pop and electro house create an upbeat and catchy tune for kids to sing along to.
