1) MINUTES began playing music in the summer of 2008. Composed of Chafe Hensley, Mark Larmee, Ryan Nelson, and Isaac Turner, all of whom are solidly "in their 30's", the band was started as an outlet for songs written by all members of the band. The modus operandi from day one was to enjoy the act of making music, create songs that are natural to their cumulative experiences, and to "serve the song." Each member can play, with varying degrees of dexterity, numerous instruments, which creates a palette of opportunities from which to choose.

Up to (and during) the formation of the band, members of Minutes have played in Hornet, Soccer Team, Mesa, Beauty Pill, Routineers, Trocar, Straphanger, First to the Fence, Spit for Athena, The Most Secret Method, Imipolex G, Wishek, Jury Rig, and many, many others. All of the members of Minutes have made music their hobby for over a decade.

The sound of the music, if you don't have access to the online presence of the band, is something akin to the music of Mission of Burma, Wire, Superchunk, Fugazi, Neil Young, or other guitar-based bands of the last forty years.

Minutes are, by and large, proud of the positivity and hope surrounding their music. By and large, this is the case.

The members of Minutes currently live in Kalamazoo, Michigan and Washington, DC, but still make records and play shows whenever time allows. Look for Minutes on tour in 2014.

2) Minutes was an indie-rock band based in Selinsgrove, PA from 2006-2009 formed by four friends at Susquehanna University. They released the five-song "Easy Listening" EP in 2008. Members are now involved in other projects, most notably Last Full Measure and Oak Blood Trio.

3) MINUTES are a UK based collective founded by former Sikth members Justin Hill (vocals/programming) and Dan Weller (guitar/vocals); with the other members consisting of Ciaran Cahill (keys/synth), Darren Baxter (drums) and Pete Skipper (bass/vocals).
