遠く、世界の片隅に住み、古の唐の都で謳われし、大詩人杜甫の如く、御山を巡りて、麓の森の中に入り込み、帰路を見失い、彷徨い歩く、ひとりの逸民であります
懐中に、携え持ちたる、スマート・フォンから、遠い過去より、流れ来たるは、ミス・コロンビアの、優しく、甘えるような、美声では、ありませんか。
今、歌っているのは、｢並木の雨｣という誰も知る、懐かしき歌なのであります。これ･こそ日本女性の、細く、しなやかで、毅然とした、風情は、本当にいいものであります。
矢張り、末裔のものでも憧れを抱いて仕舞うものなのでしょうか。
私は、この歌い手を、聴いて居りますと、｢ら｣｢り｣｢る｣｢れ｣｢ろ｣の音が、恐らく、どこか私の持っているであろう。琴線に触れるような気がするのであります。

映像は横浜山手から代官坂の並木道へと曲のイメージ通りで美しく素晴らしいですね。この頃の女性歌手の声は
小唄の素養がある歌い方と私は思います。歌詞にある（あの人）はおそらく戦地から帰って来なかったでしょう。
同じく 鈴懸の径の（語り合った友）はどうなったのでしょうか。私達の親世代は大変な時代を暮らしてきたと
此の歌のどこか物悲しいメロディーを聴く度そうおもいます。戦後も井上ひろしさんがカバーしている名曲を若い
人達はどう思うのでしょうか。歌い繋いで行く歌手が現れてくれることを待ち望みます。

この歌を聞くと、何故か無性に懐かしさを感じます。このタンゴ調の曲は当時は、斬新な歌だったのでしょう、２５歳だった母もきっと、よく口ずさんだに違いありません。
昭和６年に満州に進出した帝国陸軍は、この年帝政を施き、それが３年後の支那事変、泥沼の日中戦争、そしてあの無謀な太平洋戦争に突入していきます。その末期の絶望の時節に生を享けた私は、もはや、天皇の赤子ではなかった。まともな食べ物もなかった時代に、母は、必死になって私を育ててくれたに違いありません。
ぐずる私に、この静かな穏やかな歌を、きっと唄ってくれたにのでしょう。
その故に、もうすぐ八十路を迎える私が、この歌を聞いて、海よりも深い懐かしさを感じるのでせう。
