Citing the likes of Patti Smith, The Stooges and The Velvet Underground in her ‘eclectic’ music taste, this girl goes a long way in capturing the essence of an era of music she adores so much. The amazing voice this girl has, a voice she can adapt to any style from Folk to Punk can be effortlessly done if she choses too. Add to that the obvious talent, a great stage presence proving it's obvious she loves what she does, and to be honest I don't see anyone appearing on televised pop concerts or headlining gigs that does it any better. I watch the likes of Jools Holland's "Later" and see bands and solo artists, big names along with some I've never heard of and never do again. Misty got some radio play and praise in a few newspapers and magazines but that wasn't enough. She's not alone in being overlooked and somehow ignored, and you can't be critical of the often talentless who grab the attention on some talent show with one song, somebody else's song, they even sing it and sound like the original, it's plagiarism in a way, somebody else's work being offered as their own, but this girl is the real deal.
