1) The current most popular scrobbles under this name are for the British comedian David Mitchell. He stars in the 20-episode online video show "David Mitchell's Soap Box", presenting his views on a particular issue in his usual inimitable style.
2) Mitchell is a Dutch soul singer, akin to Maxell and Erykah Badu, who had a hit single with "Not Around" in 2001.
3) MItchell was a lo-fi pop-punk band from New Port Richey, FL
4) Mitchell is punk rock band from Grand Rapids, Michigan. Influenced by classic punk bands like The Sex Pistols, Dead Kennedys, Black Flag and The Misfits, Mitchell rose from the ashes of Paul Goodno and Dustin Anderson's 2-man punk/metal band super*room*sedative. Looking for a fuller sound and a way to jam live, Dustin and Paul recruited their old college friend Jay Kincer to play bass. During the initial jam the trio clicked and recorded a cover of the Sex Pistols classic Holidays In The Sun. Feeling good about the track and wanting to jam more the trio began to work on tracks for a full length album. After a few months of writing and jamming, the boys set up shop in Dustin's home studio and laid down the foundation for their debut Small Mouth Bass. Over the next few years the boys would record several more albums and play an aggressive live show schedule around western Michigan building a loyal fan base. Mitchell is a true punk rock band. Nothing fancy, just a case of PBR, some MST3K movies and a stack of amps. Current members are Dustin Anderson: Vox/Guitar, Jay Kincer: Bass/Vox, Paul Goodno: Drums/Vox.
THIS. IS. SOLEANNA.
Mitchell Lyrics

You packed your bags
With books and bits of me
The picture of us taken by the sea
So this is it
We really tried
""Didn't we? you ask
At least I know I did is what I said
Now after everything we shared
Can I still see you now and then
If only as friends?
So this is it
You broke the spell
So here our story ends
I'll never love this way again
In Mitchell's song "THIS. IS. SOLEANNA.," the lyrics depict a bittersweet farewell to a past love. The singer is reflecting on the end of a relationship, acknowledging that both parties tried their best but ultimately couldn't make it work. The mention of packing bags symbolizes the physical and emotional detachment as the person leaves, taking memories represented by books and fragments of the singer's own identity. The picture taken by the sea serves as a reminder of happier times shared together.
The repetition of "So this is it" emphasizes the finality of the situation, as if the singer is coming to terms with the reality that this is truly the end. The question "Didn't we?" indicates a longing for validation or confirmation that both individuals put in effort and gave the relationship a fair chance. The response "At least I know I did" suggests that the singer had genuine intentions and was committed, highlighting a sense of disappointment or perhaps even resentment.
Despite the pain and disappointment, the singer expresses a desire to maintain some sort of connection with their former partner. They wonder if they can still see each other occasionally, even if it's only as friends. This longing for a lingering connection can be seen as a way to hold onto the memories and the love that was once shared.
In the final lines, the singer acknowledges that the spell between them has been broken, signifying that the enchantment they once felt is now gone. The story of their relationship concludes here, leaving the singer to contemplate whether they will ever be capable of loving someone in the same way again. The lyrics convey a sense of loss and the realization that moving forward means embracing the unknown.
