いいね♪ いいよねね♬ やっぱり、いいよね♫♪ アレンジがいいよね、、
中島みゆきさんがこの曲について「歌姫はあなた自身のことではありませんか」と質問をされていたことがありました。中島みゆきさんは「私(中島)のことてはない」と答えていました。私の思い込みかもしれませんが、いやおもいっきり勝手な思い込みと思いますが、歌姫は「テレサテンさん」の事ではないかと想像しています。奇しくも、このころからテレサテンさんは「アジアの歌姫」と呼ばれていたように思います。
中島みゆきさんはうたについて多くを語らないところがあります。それは、ファンにとっては残念だと思うけれど、、、、私のようなものには「想像」する余白を与えてくれます。
「歌姫」という言葉はこの曲が発表されるまではあまり使われる単語ではなかったと思います。しかし、「歌姫」という言葉には音楽に秀でた人で、歌で他人を魅了する人と容易に想像させる表現豊かな単語だと思います。。
改めてこのページで歌姫を聴いてみて、アレンジがいいこととそれでいて中島さん作曲のエッセンスが詰まっていて、やっぱりいい音(ね)と感じました。
