Mom Called Killer di pilih sebagai identitas band karena kami percaya dalam setiap lagu yang kami ciptakan memiliki suatu spirit yang dapat membakar semangat pendengarnya. Mom Called Killer sempat melakukan pergantian personil hingga akhirnya terbentuk formasi MCK yaitu Adith Bantat (vocal), Edi (Bass), Gus Agung (Guitar), Dewaadi (Guitar) dan Wika (Drum). Sejak band ini berdiri, MCK banyak dipengaruhi oleh band - band metal seperti As I Lay Dying, Unearth, Chimaira, Cavalera Conspiracy, Opeth dll. Hal tersebut dapat dirasakan dari lagu-lagu MCK yang menggabungkan banyak unsur dari band-band tersebut, mulai dari dentuman drum yang kencang digabungkan dengan distorsi gitar dan suara bass mengantarkan suara vokal yang terkadang terdengar berat namun beberapa saat berteriak dengan penuh emosi sehingga spirit dari musik dan lirik dapat mengusir nyamuk.
