There are a number of artists called Mona.
1. Mona are an indie rock band originally from Dayton, Ohio, now located in Nashville, Tennessee.
They play romantic rock n' roll songs for the 'city folk'. Their single ‘Listen to Your Love’ was recorded in their basement and was released on their own Zion Noiz recordings which came out in the United Kingdom on September 13th 2010. The band comprise of Nick Brown (vocals, guitar, keyboards), Vince Gard (drums), Zach Lindsey (bass), Jordan Young (guitar). According to Songfacts, they are named after Brown’s grandmother.
The band have been so keen to keep their debut material under wraps that rather than sending it out to journalists to review, they played it down the phone to them (Source: The Guardian - New Band of the Day, 29th July 2010).
They are also tagged on Last Fm as: MONA (The Band)
2. Monalisa "Mona" Lengkong is an Indonesian singer and rose her fame as finalist on Indonesian Idol Season 6.
3. Mona were an indie rock band from Salt Lake City, Utah.
In Fall 2002, two musicians made a pact. To create music they loved without worrying about what anyone else thought. Hyrum Summerhays and Chad Dorton established Mona after a split with their band Elsewhere left them craving.
The two wanted to play music with simple melodies and moody lyrics reminiscent of Low, Red House Painters and Belle and Sebastian. Six months searching for the right singer turned-up Mandy Jeppsen, formerly of Gerald Music, and the concept was realized. Like a quiet moment listening through headphones, Mona's luscious unpretentiousness draws the ear inward, beckoning an audience to relax and just listen.
4. Mona is a pop-rock band originating from Helsinki, Finland.
They haven't signed a record-deal yet, but their song Virta has gotten loads of airtime in radio. Mona consists of singer Maija, guitarist Anssi, keyboardist Sami, basist Visu and drummer Tuomas. They were voted to Tulevaisuuden tusina 2011-list (a list in which Finland's most valued music-editors vote artists they think will make a break through in 2011.)
5. Mona are a metal band from Maputo, Mozambique.

Love Divine
Mona Lyrics

Sitting pretty
As your world falls apart
Isn't it lovely, so lovely
A holiday for a broken heart
Just die like your past
All the pain that's inside
And dance like you don't give a damn
Love divine take what is mine
What is mine, what is mine
Even when it's fair life's not fair
You gotta live between the lines
So Mona listen
You wanna get there and you'll be there
Sometimes it takes some time
Sometimes just die like your past
All the pain that's inside
Dance like you don't give a damn
About your life
Love divine take what is mine
What is mine, what is mine
The sun rises and it sits
Tried not to forget pain
Always losing it
So walk the line
And raise a glass
Tip your hat in this past pain
You'll fly again
Love, love,
Just die like your past
All the pain that's inside
Dance like you don't give a damn
About your life
Love divine take what is mine
Just take what is mine
What is mine, what is mine
Come to me come to me
Like you're dead on the take
Come to me come to me
Like you're dead on the take
Love divine take what is mine
Just take what is mine
What is mine, what is mine
What is mine, what is mine
If I don't promise to yourself
Just don't run
You know that's true
Here we are now
Standing ground
Cause I'm standing proud with you
You wanna scream
Player stay if I touch you leave
Cover to suspect
I always push the shit
Here we go now
It's you and me
Dance with the flow
Don't lose your grip
Now watch your steps
So you just don't slip
Everything in the earth will shake
What is mine, mine, mine
What is mine, mine, what is mine
You know you'll find me
You know you'll find me
Down on my knees
The lyrics of Mona’s song “Love Divine” imply a message of hope and resilience for those with broken hearts. The chorus, which repeats “Love divine take what is mine, what is mine, what is mine,” can be interpreted as a message of surrender to fate, recognizing that everything in life is not always fair, but eventually we must move on from the pain of the past.
The repeated lines of “just die like your past, all the pain that's inside, and dance like you don't give a damn about your life” can be seen as a call to action to let go of pain and live in the moment. The bridge that says "Here we are now, standing ground 'cause I'm standing proud with you" reaffirms that the struggles we endure are easier to bear when shared with someone we care about.
Overall, the song encourages the listener to keep moving forward, even when life seems unfair and painful. The upbeat tempo and electrifying guitar riffs help to reinforce the message of resilience and hope.
