(That's on my soul, that's on my soul)
(That's on my soul, that's on my soul)
(June, you're a genius) facts
Slipper goals, man, these streets so cold (they froze)
That's on my soul, that's on my soul
That's on my soul, that's on my soul
Gotta keep a pole (right now)
That's on my soul, that's on my soul
The streets all I know (I know)
That's on my soul (hey)
Slipper goals, man, these streets so cold (they froze)
That's on my soul, that's on my soul
I won't break no codes (ain't never)
That's on my soul, that's on my soul
Gotta keep a pole (right now)
That's on my soul, that's on my soul
The streets all I know (I know)
That's on my soul, that's on my soul
Showed love 'fore I saw the loyalty
I gave her way too much credit (I did)
Wanted a spot in my movie scene
But you didn't make the final edit (the cut)
My bitch and my other bitch at war (why?)
I'm the reason, so they blame me (damn)
I trust a dude off some other nigga's word
My fault, gotta blame me (beat myself up)
I stood on my word, I showed 'em I'm solid but niggas went left (and niggas went that way)
Whenever it's shit goin' on, it feel like I'm here by myself (I'm here all alone)
One thing that I had to accept (what?), they just around for the wealth (that's crazy crazy)
And if anybody 'round me try me (what happen?), I'ma love 'em to death
I'm goin' in, yes, sir
I'm livin' like that, I swear
No cap, tables right there
Clear Cartiers on my wrist, nerd (I'm up)
I'm king to these hoes (ask 'em)
Can't do shit for her finger so I put a ring on her toes (ha)
Got no heart, just a black hole, on my soul
Man, these streets so cold (they froze)
That's on my soul, that's on my soul
I won't break no codes (ain't never)
That's on my soul, that's on my soul
Gotta keep a pole (right now)
That's on my soul, that's on my soul
The streets all I know (I know)
That's on my soul (hey)
Slipper goals, man, these streets so cold (they froze)
That's on my soul, that's on my soul
I won't break no codes (ain't never)
That's on my soul, that's on my soul
Gotta keep a pole (right now)
That's on my soul, that's on my soul
The streets all I know (I know)
That's on my soul (yeah, yeah)
Niggas be actin' like hoes, like they keep a pole, but niggas be gettin' exposed
Foenem be callin' my phone when I get the load, 'cause I know they gettin' 'em gone
I might face the East when I'm in that Rolls 'cause I'm in cahoots with the most
I know a nigga who killed over half the city, when he got caught, he told
Still ask for cash like he ain't told, that shit so bold
You don't want that issue, grab that tissue, foenem wipe your nose
And I don't get high off Percs no more, I gotta boot up the dose
And I can't trust them niggas no more, 'cause that shit too close, yeah
Man, these streets so cold (they froze)
That's on my soul, that's on my soul
I won't break no codes (ain't never)
That's on my soul, that's on my soul
Gotta keep a pole (right now)
That's on my soul, that's on my soul
The streets all I know (I know)
That's on my soul
Slipper goals, man, these streets so cold (they froze)
That's on my soul, that's on my soul
I won't break no codes (ain't never)
That's on my soul, that's on my soul

That's on my soul, that's on my soul
The streets all I know (I know)
That's on my soul, that's on my soul
The lyrics of "On My Soul" by Moneybagg Yo Feat. Lil Durk is an ode to the street life that they have experienced. The chorus of the song emphasizes their commitment to the street life and their refusal to betray it. They are willing to figuratively pledge their soul to the streets to show their unwavering loyalty to this lifestyle. They also reflect on the danger associated with these streets, acknowledging the need to stay strapped and ready to defend themselves at all times.
The first verse delves into Moneybagg Yo's personal experience of dealing with fake love in his life from people who didn't have his best interests at heart. He acknowledges that even though he trusted someone with his life, they let him down in the end. This theme continues in the second verse, as Lil Durk reflects on the fact that people he thought he could trust have betrayed him. He refuses to trust them again because he knows that these streets are unforgiving.
Overall, the song is a powerful reminder of the harsh reality of street life and the need to remain true to oneself.
