Many people are uncertain about whether they possess excess or not.

If we have too much
The abundance that some possess is questionable in terms of fairness.

But we'll take our chances
Regardless of uncertainty, people are willing to risk their situation.

Cause god stopped keeping score
Religion no longer judges or condemns individuals for their actions.

And we cling to the things they sold you
Society holds onto the material possessions and ideals marketed to them.

Did we cover your eyes when told you
