After brief touring, Morne unveiled their debut full-length album Untold Wait in late 2009. The album was the culmination of over 2 years efforts and hard work as a group. Morne also invited guest musicians Kris Force and Alicia Morgan to contribute their talents and signatures to further the album's vast concept. Due to artistic and personal differences, the band parted ways with Kevin prior to the album's release. In his place, Erik Larson stepped up to substitute for their first European tour in the summer of 2009. After nearly one year without a permanent drummer, Morne was joined by Billy Knockenhauer in September of 2010 to perform with the band full-time. The band has also since been joined by Ian Shultz to fulfill the role of permanent keyboard and sound manipulation, helping to complete the band's live sound.
Morne has since released two further albums, Asylum in 2011 and Shadows in 2013.

Morne Lyrics

Penetrating fear
Standing still, falling stars
Silhouettes of trees
Rising dawn, fading hope
Sacrificed to the night
Cracking flames of the days
Burning us away
Hide form your fear, hide your fear
When shadows force their way
Weakness throughout the pain
Now I hate what I used to love
Things left behind
Hope shattered once again
We are running from this pain
To a place where fire burns
Through the darker nights
Through the shorter days
Winter brings the cold
Sleep heals the pain
All we should have said
The time fades away
Never show that you are scared
Never show the fear you once felt
I will learn to love what I used to hate
When the fear is gone
The wind carries us away
Morne's song "Shadows" is a dark and introspective piece that touches on themes such as fear, pain, and hopelessness. The opening lines see the singer standing on a hill, in the dark of the night, surrounded by fear that seems to have penetrated their very being. The second line, "Penetrating fear," emphasizes the intensity of the fear, and how it seems to have become a part of them. The silhouette of trees against the night sky and the falling stars seem to be symbolic of the uncertainty and transience of life.
As the dawn rises, there is a sense of fading hope, as if the singer has sacrificed their faith to the night. They seem to be surrounded by the "cracking flames" of hopelessness and despair, which are slowly burning them away. The chorus, "Hide from your fear, hide your fear when shadows force their way" seems to suggest that the singer is trying to escape from the shadows that haunt them, rather than confront them.
In the second verse, the pain seems to have weakened the singer to the point that they now hate what they used to love. There is a sense of sadness and longing for the things that were left behind, along with shattered hope. The singer is running away from the pain, seeking refuge in a place where fire burns, perhaps symbolizing regeneration and renewal.
Overall, the song seems to be a reflection on the impact of fear and pain on the human psyche, and the ways in which we try to cope with these emotions.
