Morti es el nombre artístico de Alejandro Martínez, un cantante español de Rock natural de Barcelona. Ha participado en proyectos como El Fantástico Hombre Bala, Ex-Mundus o Bushido, éste último una aventura discográfica en la que compartió protagonismo con artistas como Carlos Ann, Shuarma y Enrique Bunbury.
Desde 2005 hasta 2009 fue el vocalista del grupo de metal Skizoo, con el que ha grabado 3 discos: Skizoo, Incerteza y 3.
También ha colaborado en otros proyectos como el homenaje a Big Simon, con el tema Y serás canción.
Habitualmente ha manifestado su intención de preservar su nombre real y ser conocido simplemente como "Morti", nombre con el que ha figurado en todos sus proyectos

Morti, formally known as Bill Hayes, was born 17th February 1984 in Walsall. He moved to Canterbury when he was 18 and records all his music in his study using whatever he has to hand. He plays all sorts of guitars with a particular preference for the bass which he plays in the worship band at The City Church Canterbury. His own music is a blend of straightforward indie guitar rock with subtle prog rock inspirations.
Although considered a reasonable guitar player and songwriter Morti admits his biggest limitation is his vocal talents which he makes up for by asking particularly talented friends of his to sing for him. His latest album, Spot The Deliberate Mistakes, features no fewer than six guest vocalists. Doing this allows him to worry less about his natural limits and be more concerned with writing good music and finding someone who can sing it in the appropriate key later on.
He lists his influences as Mike Oldfield, James, Pink Floyd, REM and The Divine Comedy.
