I give dr. Dre credit for giving a shout-out to the South. Because he understood that all of these different coasts coming in to rap, helped expand Hip Hop.
I just didn't like that he doubled back and started dick licking New York. He got away from anything that was West Coast. Started producing for Nas, the firm, and 50 Cent, almost exclusively.

@Christian Charles I was never a 50 fan. Always thought he was an average rapper who knew how to make hit songs and market an image. I recognize GRODT as a classic but, honestly, I always thought it was overrated. 50 had a great hood story to sell and he milked it as long as he could. It's like Jada said "you ain't get shot again so what's your next album gonna be about?" After GRODT, he started relying on gimmick beefs and radio hood pop songs ala Ja Rule. I respect 50's business acumen and grind but he was always an overrated rapper to me.
